Join Diabetes South Africa in a fun 5km walk to help create awareness about this disease that kills 2 people every 10 seconds.
Date: Saturday November 19
Time: 7am to 12.30pm
Place: Voortrekker Monument, Eufees Road, Pretoria
Entry fee: R30 for adults, R25 for children, R80 family special (2 adults and 2 chidlren)
It is a 5km walk staring at 09h00. Registration starts at 07h15 or online at http://www.diabetessa.co.za/, at the end of September 2011 Spot prizes to be given away. First 600 entries on the day get T-shirts and a goodie bag. There will be plenty food stalls and exibitors as well as entertainment for the whole family. A small hestitage fee of R5 will have to be paid at the gate of the Voortrekker Monument per vehicle.
